Buying a home is a journey and, like any journey, can entail the odd twist and turn. But, whatever happens, we’ll be there to smooth out the bumps in the road – from the first step to the door step.
1. Introductions
We take time to understand what you’re looking for in a property – but also what your life there would look like. That way we can cover everything, including (but by no means limited to) budget, architectural style, key features, location, transport links and amenities.
2. Research
Working from your brief, we use our connections with estate agents in your chosen areas – as well as any others we might recommend. With many desirable properties selling before they appear online, leveraging these relationships can be a vital step.
3. Previews and updates
We’ll visit each and every property that has the potential to fulfill your brief. At the end of each week (if not before) we’ll report to you on the best we’ve seen.
4. Property tours
Next, it’s time to take a look with your own eyes and get a real feel for the properties on the shortlist. We’ll keep arranging property tours for as long as it takes to find a place you want to call home.
5. Negotiations
An asking price rarely reflects a property’s true value. And if that’s true in your case, we’ll know. After reporting to you with a thorough market analysis, we’ll enter into negotiations on your behalf – lowering the price as far as possible.
6. Legal
Our work doesn’t end when an offer is accepted. We’ll coordinate conversations between your surveyor, solicitor, broker, lender, estate agent and any other interested parties to ensure the keys end up in your hands without any unnecessary complications.
