The Story
Hampstead Village was at the heart of this search. The client had a very definite idea of her favourite streets and while this was primarily a rental investment for her, it needed to appeal to both the head and heart. The kind of property she wanted would rarely reach the open market, so our contacts with local agents and ability to source off-market options was critical to this search. We negotiated a good deal on a lovely period maisonette on one of her favourite streets. As the purchase wore on however, various issues with the survey and the potential rental value meant it no longer made sense to proceed with the purchase. With only four weeks left before Christmas, we instead secured her a one-bedroom flat in a fantastic Hampstead location, with a great rental yield. Our recommended surveyor and solicitor helped to push the deal through in four weeks, allowing completion to take place before Christmas.
