Lots of light, high ceilings, big windows
East London
Budget of circa £2,200,000
The Story
We were the first people to see the house after it came on the market. Buildings such as this are incredibly rare and, inevitably, there were multiple offers on it within two weeks, ending in ‘best and final offers’ . Our advice on what to offer led to our client winning the battle, by a comfortingly small margin. Subsequently, two of the other bidders submitted higher offers than ours but, by that time, we had proven ourselves to be strong and committed buyers, and the seller refused the higher offers.
What the client said
“With a gentle hand, Jamie led me through a lengthy search that began with an impossible brief and ended with a successful purchase. The most satisfying aspect of the journey was, under Jamie’s guidance, dismantling my preconceptions and various priorities, likes and dislikes, and reassembling them into an achievable brief. Jamie was unflaggingly enthusiastic, professional and affable; his empathy and intuition helped to forge a path to a property that I feel comfortable saying will be my home for life.”
