The Story

Our clients loved where they were in Hackney, but needed more space as they embarked on the next stage of their life as parents. Our property tours focused on comparing properties within familiar locations in Hackney, along with new, similar areas that we recommended – such as East Dulwich. After securing a fantastic property in East Dulwich that unfortunately fell through, we immediately found them a great property within a couple of minutes’ walk of their rental flat in Hackney.

This was, however, only the beginning. The sales process became complicated with an issue regarding ground rent that would have seemed insurmountable to most buyers. We had to work tirelessly with the solicitor, mortgage broker and estate agent to make sure the issue could be resoled. Our final challenge was navigating the multi property chain, which threatened to derail our clients’ moving plans. Thanks to our relationship with the estate agent, we were able to break the property chain to make sure our clients completed on their purchase when they needed to.
