The Story
Our client, an artist, was selling a mixed use building (studio space with a flat above) in East London, and was looking for a unique space in Central or West London to serve multiple needs. It needed to have enough light and space for a home studio workspace, and a unique, characterful space in which to live. The search was so widespread in terms of area, size of property and budget, that the number of options was overwhelming, and he travelled a lot with work. We took the time to simplify the search and condense the choices to reflect his best options, both in terms of what to buy, but also in terms of how different areas met his various needs. After seeing a curated list of options that focussed more/less heavily in favour of different elements of his requirements, he decided on a beautiful conversion. In it he found the perfect balance of being west, close to transport, and with enough internal space, light and character. The conveyancing process wasn’t straightforward because of damp found during the survey, but we managed everything and didn’t allow for it to become stressful for our client. We immediately called in our recommended specialists and managed to secure a significant sum of money as a retention. We then readied the company to begin works as soon as completion had taken place.
What the client said
"After a busy day at work, scrolling Rightmove was the last thing I wanted to do, as buying a new house is suppose to be exciting and fun. I was at a loss, until a friend told me about 360 London. After a quick phone call and a face-to-face meeting, I immediately felt at ease. They made the experience fun again. They were also patient and had very good knowledge of all the areas of London, as well as great relationships with the estate agents. I found a beautiful home and couldn’t have asked for a better person than Jamie to help me find it. He was professional and courteous all the way through the process."
