The Story
Our client wanted the feel of a house – a sensible layout, plenty of space and a good outside area. The need for space drew the search towards Clapton and Hackney Downs, where you can get more for your money than in Shoreditch. However, there was a competing desire for a more central, Zone 1 location. We were able to find a particularly good value modern development in Hoxton, where the apartments had the feel of a house but with better light and views. Our apartment also had the added security of being on the third and fourth floor. We secured the flat for for £70,000 under the asking price – only £850 per square foot.
