The Story
Our clients were looking for an investment property they could rent out, but also be happy to use as a pied-à-terre for their family. They had a very specific set of criteria and wanted to buy in one of only a few portered blocks in SE1. While the brief seemed simple on paper, our aim was to ensure the client found one of the best positioned units at the best possible price, in developments where the most sought-after flats often don’t make it to the open market. The apartment we found was indeed off-market. Our determination to unlock available properties meant that we asked local letting agents to see whether any existing landlords might be prepared to sell. We found one that was willing to sell a fantastic unit, and we secured it for less than equivalent flats sold for in the previous six months.
