The Story
Our client was moving from a traditional Victorian terraced house in West Hampstead, and wanted a wider, larger house in the same area. There are very few available, with less than a handful of roads in the area with the size and style of house that the clients were looking for. After a year and a half of sending letters to owners on the perfect streets, and seeing various off-market options in areas that weren’t perfect, the house finally became available. We heard about the house before it came to market, and were one of only two viewings to take place. Both buyers offered, but we managed to secure the property for our clients with a ‘best and final’ bid that was only £5,000 higher. To fight off any possible further competition, we managed to exchange contracts within two weeks of having the offer accepted.
